Joy Church is the perfect church for imperfect people. None of us have "arrived" — but at least we've left! From the dynamic praise and worship, to the fun videos in service, and the engaging messages... we actually believe we are the hardest church in America to fall asleep in!

Meet Our Pastor
Pastor Jim Frease
Pastor Jim Frease is the founder and senior pastor of Joy Church in Mt. Juliet, TN. He is also the founder, president and primary instructor of World Changers Bible Institute. Pastor Jim, who has been ministering since 1984, is known as a trainer of leaders and ministers around the country and internationally in churches and conferences. Most importantly, he is deeply in love with the Lord Jesus Christ and is completely committed to God's Word! Pastor Jim is married to his precious wife and best friend, Anne, and loves their son, Johnathan.
Anne Frease
Anne Frease is the co-founder of Joy Church and World Changers Bible Institute. She is a graduate of Oral Roberts University and an anointed singer who has traveled with the Oral Roberts University Music Ministry team. Anne has been ministering since 1990. She has ministered in song in churches all over the country and is presently worship leader of Joy Church.
Our pastoral, ministry and volunteer teams serve this church family every week.

How Joy Church began
Under the mandate of God, Pastor Jim and his wife Anne founded Joy Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. They pioneered the church in October of 2003 with just 18 people without knowing even one person in the area.
Joy Church has since become one of the fastest growing churches in the region with well over 2200 active Joy Team members. In 2014, Joy Church opened a brand new state of the art facility at 10085 Lebanon Road in Mount Juliet.
Joy Church is a rapidly growing multi-generational, multi-cultural church with people from almost every denominational background……including those with no church background at all. Hundreds are giving their lives to Jesus and even more lives and families are being transformed with joy! We stand with expectancy about what is ahead; the best is yet to come.

World Changers Bible Institute
Pastor Jim and Anne found WCBI — a Bible school for future leaders of all ages, where dreams meet direction.

January 2014
A new home on Lebanon Road
After outgrowing the previous building twice over, Joy Church moves into a 46,000 sq ft facility with an auditorium seating over 1,000, expanded children’s and youth areas, and the Kairos Coffeehouse.
Today
Over 2,200 on the Joy Team
Three weekend and midweek services, ministries across Mount Juliet and Nashville, and missions teams around the world. The best is yet to come.
