Is my giving secure? expand_more
Yes. Online gifts are processed by Simple Donation, a payment company built for churches. Your card or bank details go straight to them over an encrypted connection and are never sent to or stored by Joy Church.
Will I receive a tax statement? expand_more
Yes. Every gift is recorded in your name. If you need a copy of your giving statement, contact the church office at 615-773-5252.
How is my money used? expand_more
Your giving supports the ministry of Joy Church: weekend and Wednesday services, Joy Kidz and RealJoy Youth, outreach like the Food Pantry and Joy To Go, and missions around the world.
Who is Simple Donation? expand_more
Joy Church uses a Christian payment processing company for online donations named Simple Donation (also known as 440 West, LLC). It is used and trusted by many other churches, including some very well known larger churches that we respect, and Joy Church has used it for online event payments and WCBI class registrations for years. Simple Donation acts as the “middle-man” for your gift: it processes the transaction, notifies Joy Church, and passes the funds along seamlessly and immediately.
What ways can I pay? expand_more
The secure giving form lets you give from a bank account (ACH, an electronic check), a credit or debit card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
How will my gift show up on my bank statement? expand_more
Once fully processed, gifts show on your banking history as Joy Church International.
Are there processing fees? Which way of giving is best? expand_more
Giving from a bank account (ACH) is the most cost-effective: processing fees on ACH are only $1 per transaction. All other forms of digital giving are processed at 2.5% plus $0.50 per transaction. Choosing ACH saves Joy Church significant processing costs, so more of your gift goes toward serving people and reaching them with God’s Word.
