IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Out of consideration for our hundreds of volunteers and our wonderful amazing community, we’re going to be rescheduling our free yard sale to Saturday, October 5 from 9 AM to noon.

As you are aware, a large weather system is moving into our area and we want to keep everyone safe as as well as make this a great experience for our community and our volunteers. Please help us spread the word and remember to invest, invite and include!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR JOY CHURCH VOLUNTEERS

Joy Church volunteers, thank you for being a big part of this amazing outreach! We know you want to be involved and help out our community, so here is some information on when you can drop off your items for the Free Yard Sale ahead of time, as well as information on how you can serve in pre-yard sale activities and serve at the yard sale day of event!

We have modified the drop off schedule to be CLOSED on Friday September 27th so that our pre-sort team has ample time to process all our drop-off items for the event. Thank you for your understanding and adherence to this schedule.

VOLUNTEER TO SERVE BEFORE AND DURING THE EVENT

Joy team members – you can make a big difference by volunteering your time, even if it’s only an hour, as part of our PRE-EVENT team! A large portion of pre-event activities is devoted to prepping, sorting and organizing all the generous donations we receive. Come make new friends while you are making an impact for the community.

Got a pickup truck and some muscle? Let’s put it to some good use brining in some large items for the yard sale. Folks with trucks and trailers can sign up for our “on call” list for those who need help transporting large items from time to time prior to the event.

Use the button below to review the PRE-EVENT SCHEDULE and DAY OF EVENT SCHEDULE for volunteer times. Please sign up for any of the times you can volunteer to help. You may sign up for multiple times if you like. Thanks in advance for volunteering to serve.

Joy team members – you can also help on the day of the big yard sale event! We have various ways you can help out on this amazing day! We are excited to have so many areas that you can help out with – there is a place for you!

You can find something for you and your family to participate in together! Whether it is part of the setup of the tables and merchandise, carrying items to people’s cars, helping pass out bags, loving on guests, traffic control, or serving food, you and your fmaily can come out on the day of the event and help make an impact on the community!

We will have 2 volunteer shifts the day of the event from which you can select to serve. Choose the one which is best for you OR you can choose to serve on both shifts if you like!
