11 Jun Nuggets to Change Your World! (2 Timothy 2:5)
I’m going to ask you a few questions, but before I do, the key to answering these questions is absolute honesty. Remember this…accurately discerning today’s condition allows you to make tomorrow’s progress. Honesty locates us…dishonesty stagnates us!
- What means most to you?
- What do you live for?
- What excites you?
- What occupies most of your thoughts?
God has not called us to “casual Christianity” which says, “If I get around to it, I’ll come to God.” God has not called us to “crisis Christianity” which says, “If I get in trouble, I’ll come to God.” Where is our desire, longing, focus, interest, passion and love? Jesus does not want to be an addition to our life…He wants to be our life (Col. 3:4)!
He is to be our desire!
He is to be our longing!
He is to be our focus!
He is to be our interest!
He is to be our passion!
He is to be our love!
The Bible tell us, “That I may know Him and the power of his resurrection” (Phil. 3:10). We must honestly ask ourselves, are we more possession-oriented or passion oriented? Are we more goal-oriented or God oriented?!
