20 Aug Nuggets to Change Your World (2 Timothy 2:5)
The Bible tells us, “But Moses’ hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands; the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun” (Ex. 17:12).
To truly be a leader under a leader, it is imperative that we under gird his or her “hands” in ministry. Please allow me to share four practical questions and four practical answers you can bring to your pastor in order to truly “steady his hands” in ministry!
Questions: Answer:
1) What is your leader’s heart? Provide it!
2) What is your leader’s hope? Promote it!
3) What is your leader’s hurt? Protect it!
4) What can I do to help? Partner with him!
Please allow me to challenge you to schedule an appointment with your pastor (or leader) (at his or her convenience) and ask him/her these questions and then begin to genuinely and sincerely (with no hidden agendas of promotion) partake of the provision, promotion, protection and partnership with your pastor! If you’ll “lift up” your pastor, God will “lift up” you! Remember this, making others better is much like a boomerang…it will always come back to you!
