18 Jan Celebrating 1 year with special announcement!

This weekend we celebrated our first year anniversary in our new building! One year ago this weekend we had our opening services! We are so grateful to God for the ways that Joy Church has continued to grow! Here are some of the stats that reflect all the great things we saw God do at Joy Church during 2014:

• Record regular weekend attendance (1/26): 1,817
• Record weekend attendance at Christmas: 2,038
• Record weekend attendance at Easter:3,109
• Record Wednesday attendance Christmas Eve: 979
• Record number of people fed with 9 Joy to Go events: 4,415
  (total fed in history of Joy to Go: 12,920)
• Total decisions for the Lord Jesus Christ in 2014: 307
  (total over history of church: 2,675)
• Record giving from Joy Church in 2014: $230,604
• We did many powerful and effective outreaches in 2014 including our Annual Free Yard Sale, Basket Outreach to West Elementary, and our Adopt-A-Cop outreach.And….we also just moved into our new campus in January!

  When we purchased our first facility way back in 2006, we purchased it for $1.1 million. At the time we paid $700k down and borrowed $400k. Then we paid it off in less than 18 months!

  Then we moved in January to our new location here at 10085 Lebanon Road. The new facility was a $10.5 million project including land. In May, we shared with you the exciting news that the remaining debt on the project was less than $1.2 million! At that time we shared with you that we had plans in place to have the building fully paid off within 18 months.

  Today we announced that the total debt remaining as of Early December is 0! We are now debt free!

  We fully paid off the project in less than 11 months from move in and we are beginning 2015 completely debt free!

  We are just scratching the surface! A big church can make a big difference!
