From Here (How to turn your Setback into a Comeback) part 30

Recently, one of my audio/visual workers approached me and shared his heart.  He disclosed that he had a neighbor who was walking through a very difficult time.  This neighbor approached him for some encouragement.  She shared with him that she had cancer and she was walking through some great physical challenges.  My audio visual guy spent about 45 minutes encouraging her.  A day or two later, the cancer-stricken woman went out of town.  Shortly thereafter, unfortunately she died.

This man was quite shaken.  You see, he has a wonderful heart and truly felt like he could have done so much more.  Out of a great heart, he was dealing with condemnation.  I told him what I’m telling you.  You can’t go back and unscramble those eggs.  Use this situation to motivate you to minister more thoroughly to the next person God brings your way!  Live your life…from here!

Over the last number of months, we have shared with you our key verse for this series, I Thessalonians 5:16, “Rejoice evermore.”  In this short but powerful verse, we discussed the Greek word translated “evermore” literally means “from this point on”.  In everyday language it means “from here”.

Join us over the next few weeks as we finish our series “From Here”.
