Over the last few weeks we have discovered some Truths to Trust God’s Word:

  1. The Bible is historically accurate (Ps. 33:4)

      2.  The Bible is scientifically accurate

      3.  The Bible is prophetically accurate (Matt. 26:56)

      4.  The Bible is thematically unified

      5.  The Bible is trusted by Jesus (Matt. 5:18)

Let’s continue this week with…

      6.  The Bible has enduring power (Luke 21:33)

Here the Bible tells us, “Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.”  Have you ever noticed how the Word of God is so heavily attacked?  The Bible and Christianity has been attacked like no other!  Could it be possible the devil wants to keep it from us?!

Please allow me to give you “Three Enduring Entities”:

  1. The Bible is the most despised, derided, denied, dissected, debated and destroyed book ever.  However, it still endures and no one can stop it.  

The Bible tells us in I Peter 1:24-25, “For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass.  The grass withers and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth forever.  And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.”  Voltaire, who was considered a French genius (he was so smart he only had one name!) said, “Within one hundred years the Bible will be forgotten.”  After he died, his house became the place for the French Bible Society!  (I think God has a sense of humor!)
