Jamaica Missions Trip Update: Part 3

This week we continue to learn from our youth pastor, Pastor Rob Simms, who has been sharing from our recent Joy to the World Missions trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica. We believe that it will inspire you to step out of your comfort zone and into your purpose.

Day 5 (FRIDAY)

On this morning our teams split up for the last official ministry day and we did two more schools.  We then went back to Family Church on the Rock where we had a work day. Our team was really able to bless Family Church on the Rock in so many ways.  We cut down brush and trees to create a garden area. We renovated their youth area, as well as many other very helpful projects.

Later that evening, at the end of our final stop, our buses were delayed due to things beyond our control.  Our team decided to witness instead of whine about the delay and led 14 more people to Jesus. One of them was a young man in his 20’s that his mom has been praying for him for years.  Mom and son were crying together as one of our team members led him in the salvation prayer!

Day 6 (SATURDAY)

This day was a travel day back to Tennessee.  But even while traveling, our team (in the airports in Montego Bay and Miami AND on the planes) led several more to Jesus.

We had the Best Team!  We had the Best Team Chemistry!  We had the Best Time! And as mentioned, 1825 people now have their names written in the Book of Life!

Thank you for your continued prayers and support over all the years.
