Mother's Day Weekend at Joy Church This upcoming weekend at Joy Church we are celebrating Moms for Mother's Day! What an exciting way to demonstrate your relationship with the Lord Jesus! Water baptism will take place in conjunction with the regular Wednesday evening service at 7:00 pm on April 28.  Those who have signed up to be baptized must attend a special info meeting with Pastor Dave at 6:00 pm in the Guest Reception room prior to the service. The only requirement to qualify a person for water baptism is to be a born-again Christian (Acts 8:36-37). Happy Thanksgiving! God is so good and we have so much to be thankful for! In honor of the Thanksgiving week, we have a modified holiday schedule to allow our church staff and volunteer team to spend time with their families. This week there will be no Wednesday mid-week services for adults, youth or children. Normal weekend services will resume this weekend, Saturday at 5PM on Novmber 24th and 11AM on Sunday November 25th. Here at Joy Church we love reaching out to our community and we love our First Responders! The first responder community is made up of local firefighters, emergency medical teams, and law enforcement groups. These are the individuals that are designed to help and serve people that in times of extreme emergencies. They run towards trouble with dedication. We are honored that first responders protect and serve our local communities with passion and service. We want to demonstrate our appreciation for these brave individuals. Here at Joy Church we love outreaching to the community and we love our First Responders!
