The Bible tells us in I Timothy 4:1, “Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;”.  In this powerful verse the Greek word translated “expressly” means “clearly or vividly.”  The Greek word translated “last” is “hystemos” which means “last of the last.”  The Greek word for “depart” is “aphistemi” which means “to step away from, to resist, to desert or withdraw.”  The Greek word for “seducing” is “planos” which means to “slowly wander away.” If you’ll give me a little liberty, this verse could...

Deception is one of the key signs that we are in the last days (see Matthews 24:3-4, II Timothy 3:13, II Thessalonians 2:3).  Deception is the inability to properly see yourself.  Have you ever been out to eat lunch and had a big leafy salad?  When you got home you looked in the mirror and to your chagrin, you had a big piece of green lettuce stuck to your front teeth!  Your mind then races back to your lunch when you were making jokes with your friends and smiling the entire time.  The revelation hits you…everyone saw that big piece...

What a unique time we live in!  In my almost 59 years of living and in 36 years of ministry, I have never seen anything like it!  I am watching people, pastors, churches and entire denominations walking away from the Word of the living God!  This should not, however, surprise us. It certainly appears that we are at the beginning of the last of the last days.  If I am wrong about this possibly being the last generation, I am certainly right in saying this is your last generation!  All of us only have one life to live… this is not...

Over the last number of months we began our discussion with “Six Submit Standards”: There is a difference between submit and surrender. (Mark 8:34-35) Remember this:  Always submit yourself to God, but never surrender to the devil! You must get under what is over you, in order to get over what is under you!  (James 4:7) Remember:  If your “resister” isn’t working….check up on your “submitter.” There are certain things you should submit to and there are certain things you should resist. (John 10:10) 4. Just because it happened, does not automatically mean it is the will of...
