Joy Church is a safe, fun place for your children!

We’ve put a lot of prayer and consideration into creating ministry that kids love! It’s in these ministries that children often first learn foundational Bible stories, sing joyful worship songs and begin to know God personally through His Word. All of our children’s ministries below are available during each Weekend and Wednesday evening service. It is our pleasure to serve your children so that you can grow in God’s Word in the adult service without distraction.

Joy Kidz (Infants through Kindergarten)

During our Weekend services, we offer nursery care for infants as well as age-appropriate children’s ministry classes for preschoolers & kindergartners. Our focus is not only freeing you to enjoy the worship experience; we also want your young children to have great experiences in Joy Kidz! In the nursery rooms, our encouraging Joy Kidz team will care for and play along with your children, as well as share sweet songs and simple joys about God. In the Joy Kidz preschool & kindergarten rooms, our joyful children’s ministry team will assist your children as they learn relevant Bible lessons, sing fun and easy-to-learn praise songs, and complete crafts and games that reinforce the Bible lesson. Your children will also get a play time and snack time in the Joy Kidz preschool & kindergarten rooms.

Generation Joy (1st Grade-6th Grade)

Our energetic Generation Joy children’s ministry area is for your children in 1st grade through 6th grades during weekend and Wednesday services! The friendly Generation Joy ministry team is enthusiastic and passionate about teaching your children each week! We will provide a joyful environment and will lead your child in energetic praise and interactive Biblical lessons that encourage participation and reward involvement. In addition, your children will also play group games and challenges with other children in their school grades in our colorful game rooms. For 1st-4th graders, each child will be provided a sheet with a memory verse and lesson summary that includes an area to record their daily activity (including reading God’s Word and praying) for the following week before they return to church. As they log these activities and participate in the Generation Joy class times, there are also special reward times scheduled that provide additional encouragement. Generation Joy is an encouraging environment that helps strengthen your child’s faith, character, and relationship with the Lord Jesus by teaching application of God’s Word.

Safety and Security

Your child’s safety is important to us, and we create that secure environment for your children to grow in. Children’s ministries have check-in stations at the entrances to each children’s area that are staffed by our wonderful Joy Church children’s ministry teams. On your child’s first visit to our children’s areas, we will ask for some simple registration items including name and age of your child, address, and any special needs information. You and your child will then be registered in our computerized check-in system, and you will receive a security sticker that will allow our children’s ministry teams to correctly identify you after the service and permit them to check your child out safely.

When you register your child at each service, you will receive a unique identification code on your security sticker that identifies your child. If your child needs attention during the service, we will clearly post that discreet identification code in the upper right corner of our large video screens. If your child’s code is displayed during a service, please promptly head to the child registration area where a children’s ministry leader will kindly meet with you to provide a clear explanation and allow you to assist your child as needed.

In addition, our children’s ministry areas are staffed with quality individuals that have all gone through security background screening, and receive regular ongoing ministry and process training.

RealJoy Youth (7th-12th grades)

If your children are in the 7th-12th grades, check out our RealJoy Youth Page! RealJoy Youth meet each week during our Wednesday 7 PM service, where they have a fun and encouraging environment designed for today’s teens.
